Rinse focuses on (inter)national estate planning, family property law and civil litigation. He was affiliated with the University of Antwerp as an academic assistant in the Person & Power research group, and regularly publishes in various leading legal journals.
Rinse holds a Master of Law (University of Antwerp) and a Master of Notary (University of Brussels). He is a lawyer at the Brussels Bar.
He has been a member of the Cazimir team since 2015.
Rinse is involved in national and international estate planning, advising wealthy families throughout their life and assisting entrepreneurs in planning and structuring their assets.
In this way he assists clients in transferring wealth to the next generation, taking into account the different interests within the family. In addition, he works together with them to find legal solutions in family disputes. Finally, he makes sure to avoid future conflicts by using (global) succession contracts.
Should it come to that, Rinse has extensive experience in the settlement of conflicts in family matters, be it in the context of family wealth planning, or in the case of divorce or inheritance issues. If an amicable solution does not appear to be possible, Rinse also has a very strong expertise in civil litigation for the various Belgian courts, with a focus on complex estate matters.
Rinse is a much sought-after guest speaker at seminars. In addition, he regularly publishes in various leading legal journals and appeared in various prominent media.
In the past, he was affiliated with the University of Antwerp as an academic staff member. Now he still acts as a guest speaker in the in-depth study Family Property Law.
Finally, he is a member of AIJA, International Association of Young Lawyers.

In his free time, Rinse regularly travels outside of Belgian borders and regularly picks up a book. He is fascinated by both fiction and non-fiction, with a special interest in economics and politics.
