
Gert-Jan obtained a Master of Laws from KU Leuven in 2014 (cum laude), followed by an LL.M. in International Business Law from Queen Mary University of London in 2015 (magna cum laude).
After completing his studies, Gert-Jan began his career as a lawyer in the corporate M&A team of a leading Belgian law firm, where he worked from 2015 to 2022. From June 2022 to July 2025, he served as legal counsel for the holding company of a European HR services group. In August 2025, Gert-Jan returned to the legal profession and joined the Cazimir team.
Gert-Jan is a member of the Ghent Bar.
