Katrien Nys

Katrien obtained a Master of Laws degree from KU Leuven in 2021. In 2022, she also obtained a Master's degree in Notarial Law at KU Leuven.
As a lawyer, Katrien is a member of the Brussels Bar. She has been a member of the Cazimir team since September 2022.

Katrien specializes in family property law, both as regards advice and the procedural side of this branch of law. She also has a special fascination for the transfer of a family business to the next generation.

Katrien wrote her master thesis on the succession of the family business to the next generation. She analyzed the possibilities of recourse, both from the point of view of civil law and corporate law.

In her free time, Katrien enjoys going out to restaurants, spending time with her family and friends or reading a good book. She also tries to schedule some exercise at regular periods of time going from a nice walk to a session at the gym.
