
Wouter Strypsteen is a tax lawyer specializing in advising entrepreneurial families and family offices on the structuring of their wealth and investments.
After completing his Master of Laws (KU Leuven, 2014), Wouter further specialized in Tax Law (ULB, 2015), Corporate Law (KU Leuven, 2021) and Asset Management (Vlerick Executive Program, 2024). Before joining the Cazimir team in 2019, he worked as a tax lawyer in a Benelux business law firm and in the tax team of a Belgian major bank. Wouter is a lawyer at the Brussels Bar.
Wouter is trilingual in Dutch, French and English.
Wouter specializes in investment taxation and the optimal structuring of family holdings and family offices, often in an international context. He assists entrepreneurial families and investors in optimizing their assets and expanding their businesses. His goal is to find a clear and pragmatic solution to even the most complex tax and legal issues.
He focuses on the tax and legal aspects of family holdings, business transfers and financial investments. For example, he regularly assists limited partners with their investments in Belgian and foreign private equity and venture capital funds.
Wouter regularly gives lectures to bankers as well as to various Belgian and international organizations on the taxation of wealth structuring. He is also actively involved in the Brussels Bar, serving as a member of the Bar Council and as a former president of the Flemish Pleading Society at the Brussels Bar. In addition, he is a member of international associations such as the International Association of Young Lawyers (AIJA) and the International Fiscal Association (IFA)
In his free time, Wouter enjoys staying active on his racing bike or on the tennis court.
